Hey everyone! This week blog is showcasing my entry into the Share Joy Challenge #44! This week is a sketch and color option and I actually decided to do the sketch portion this week! It instantly had ideas flowing through my head and I knew exactly what I would make. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
I’ve been itching to incorporate some watercolor galaxy pieces I made awhile back and never could find the right card for it. With this challenge I decided to break it out! (If you want a step by step tutorial of how I made it, let me know and I can write a future post about it!) I started with an A2 dark grey/black card base and cut out a strip of white cardstock slowly going smaller at the end. Total, it started at 1 inch and tapered off to about a 0.75 of an inch. I cut a small 0.25 inch of a strip of the galaxy cardstock and adhered it to the white piece before adhering it all to the base diagonally. I (very carefully) hand wrote the sentiment to fit in the small space I had and I cut out a pretty large star from the galaxy paper and adhered it to the corner. It was missing something, so I added some glossy accents to the star to really bring it to life!
I’ll have a link to the Share Joy Challenge below, along with my supply list!
